Many thanks to Luigiblood for writing a linker that made it possible to assemble two of the binaries. Code for this is on his github account: https://github.com/LuigiBlood

Files included:

SF.ROM - April 15, 1994 build of Star Fox 2, based on time stamps in the folder titled "SF2". This binary is not the correct size for a standard SNES ROM image, but when the code in this folder is assembled and linked using Luigiblood's linker, it comes out at the same size. This binary was originally leaked sometime in 1999 by an anonymous former employee of Argonaut, possibly when he was trying to figure out how to get it to work.

manifest.bml - If you load the SF.ROM into higan, it will create a game folder. Stick this manifest.bml file into it so that you can properly emulate it.

SF6-5.sfc - May 6, 1994 build of Star Fox 2, based on time stampls in the folder titled "SF6-5". Luigiblood assembled the code in this and created a working binary.

SF6-5_NORMAL.sfc - Luigiblood made a build of this without the debugging display

SFA2.sfc - May 13, 1994 build of Star Fox 2, based on time stamps in the folder titled "SF2A". The folder had assembled "SOB" files, but without a linker, it was not possible to create a playable game. Luigiblood quickly made a linker and was able to make a playable binary.

Note that there is not really any noticeble differences between these two builds.

Star Fox 2 (Japan) (Proto) (Alt 1).sfc - June 22, 1995 The so called "final beta", which was leaked out in 2002 by an anonymous developer to members of the German SNES scene.

ARGLINK_REWRITE.zip - linker written by Luigiblood

ARGOS2.EXE - Super FX assembler, ARGASM

Star Fox 2 SPCs.zip - SPC files for all the builds of Star Fox 2, currated by Luigiblood.
